Striped Bass Fishing staff has been Rhode Island charter fishing these waters for over 19 years. They have the experience and skill to put you on the fish you're looking for whether it is with spinning gear or fly Rod. We welcome all levels of angler experience, although People with fly fishing experience will benefit the most from saltwater fly fishing trips on our boat. Our trips specialize in light tackle and fly fishing, no trolling will occur on any of the fishing trips. We encourage people to think about conservation and not to take every fish that comes in the boat.

We can target any of a number of species on a fishing trip including striped bass, bluefish, tuna, sea bass, tautog, and fluke. Usually only one or two species are targeted on any given trip. Ask us about the specifics of your trip.

We fish from May 1st to October 31st. Most of our fishing is on Narragansett Bay, Newport, and Block Island in Rhode Island waters.

About the Charter Boat.

The Charter boat is a 2004 Mako 21' center console boat for light tackle and fly fishing trips on Narragansett Bay, the RI South shore and Block Island. It is fast and reliable, equipped with a 135hp Mercury Optimax and Garmin Chart plotter and depth finder. We can take a maximum of 3 passengers, but 1 or 2 is best.
